WHY TEAMCREATIVE


We were delighted to be officially appointed by Blackburn with Darwen Council and Maple Grove Developments as the preferred marketing agency to design, develop and produce all marketing particulars for the most exciting development to come out of Blackburn in recent times, Cathedral Quarter.

We were originally invited to tender for the opportunity to produce a full marketing strategy for the exciting development by joint agents of the scheme Knight Frank and Trevor Dawson. With our extensive experience and reputation within the marketing industry, along with our unique portfolio offering of previous projects, we were perfectly placed to fulfil the requirements.

THE QUARTER


The £30 million Cathedral Quarter development is recognised for its significant architectural and historic importance, for not just the town, but across the North West.

The transformation across this 17 hectare site is set to create a special meeting place and gateway to the town, providing a unique and characterful place in the heart of Blackburn. This regeneration will provide new public and private open spaces in and around the Cathedral and in front of the main railway station and bus interchange. It is set to introduce new leisure and tourism uses into Blackburn town centre in order to enhance the “night time” offer to both local residents and visitors alike.

UNIQUE BRANDING


Team Creative’s first port of call was to develop a unique brand identity for Cathedral Quarter that would be used throughout the development’s future marketing campaigns. As with any new identity, it was imperative to get the look and feel of it correct from the start as the logo will be the first thing people look at and is usually the one thing they remember.

The logo our team designed cleverly depicts two key elements of Cathedral Quarter as a development. The first is the four dominant shapes that make the body of the logo; each shape representing a different element of the ‘quarter’. The second is the choice of logo colour palette; the unique selection of colours represent the Cathedral’s iconic stain glass windows, which are also featured in the two new office block designs.

INSPIRING A TOWN


With Cathedral Quarter being a brand new development, it was asked of our team to create an identity that would ‘inspire the town’. So that’s exactly what we did. As part of the marketing package, we produced some truly unique site hoardings stretching around the whole 17 hectare, site spanning over a distance of 500 metres.

DIGITAL CAMPAIGN


It was important to Blackburn with Darwen Council that the new scheme had a strong digital presence as they felt engaging with not only local businesses, but the general public, was important. With this in mind our digital team developed a truly bespoke social media strategy on a variety of different platforms tailored to the scheme’s needs, including a uniquely developed hashtag, #TheNewBlackburn.

BESPOKE WEBSITE


As part of Cathedral Quarter Blackburn’s digital presence came the design and development of a bespoke build website. The newly designed site features a selection of dedicated pages each representing a different element of the development’s vast array of opportunities. The team also built into the site an exciting social media hub ‘The Social Quarter’, an area that features a live Twitter and Facebook feed, the very latest PR stories and a full photo gallery.

THE PROJECT

Fresh from the back of the digital marketing campaign Team Creative developed for Blackburn with Darwen’s exciting new Cathedral Quarter Blackburn development, we were approached by leading UK commercial property agency, Knight Frank, as the organisation looked to grow its own digital presence, focusing initially on their North West division.

DIGITAL STRATEGY

Knight Frank wanted to focus their new digital strategy around the social networking site Twitter where they have experienced great success in recent years on a national level, with their official account reaching over 32K followers to date.

The North West organisation already had a slight existence on Twitter but by their own admissions, didn’t have a clear consistent strategy in place. Since the appointment of Team Creative, Knight Frank have seen their following rise by over 280% whilst becoming one of the region’s leading agencies online in the process.

THE SCHEME

Orbital 1 is South Manchester’s newest, most prominent development site situated immediately fronting Junction 1 of the M60 motorway. The site is ideal for redevelopment for a number of uses including Retail, Leisure, Office and Industrial, subject to planning. The scheme is unique in that it will provide an opportunity for occupiers to locate on a new, highly prominent site in one of the most sought after areas of the North West and within easy reach of popular areas such as Stockport itself, Didsbury, Wilmslow and Alderley Edge, as well as Manchester city centre.

THE BRIEF

Team Creative was exclusively appointed by leading UK property developer, Scarborough Developments Group to design and develop a truly unique brand identity and marketing suite for their new scheme. They wanted an identity that would be both thought provoking and eye catching.

Having worked closely with lead scheme agents Knight Frank over the years our team to understood from the offset exactly what was needed to best showcase this exciting new development opportunity.

LOGO & BRAND IDENTITY

First came the development and creation of a brand new logo which was designed with the scheme name in mind ‘Orbital 1’. The logo features a planet like design around the ‘O’ making reference to the word ‘orbital’. The logo was also produced in a variety of different colour palettes.  Once the logo design had been approved and signed off, our creative team set to work coming up with a series of 5 individual branding campaign designs, with each individual campaign focusing on the development’s unique selling points.  To house the 5 separate campaigns we also designed a bespoke gate fold folder along with a range of location signage.


DIGITAL DESIGN

To run alongside the printed campaign, our digital team was asked to design and develop a tailor made website that would give the scheme a strong online presence, allowing people to easily find out more about what the development has to offer. The website followed the same branding throughout, taking inspiration from the printed literature produced.

THE SCHEME

The Balance is situated in the heart of Sheffield city centre and has proved a popular location for many businesses over recent years. The building has attracted some of the city’s best known businesses including Plusnet, Hill Dickson, Access Computer Consulting, Horwich Farrelly and Protocol Education.

THE BRIEF

The Creativeworld team was exclusively appointed by leading UK property agency Knight Frank to design a unique marketing and advertising campaign to re-launch ‘The Balance Sheffield’ to the market. With the county of Yorkshire welcoming the Le Tour De France to the area in 2014, we were asked to incorporate a cycling theme into the designs for the new advertising campaign.

A new brand identity and logo was required in order to fully re-launch the exciting opportunity to the market. With our team having worked closely with leading scheme agents, Knight Frank, on previous projects, we were asked to simply do what we do best. So that’s exactly what we did!


DIGITAL MARKETING

Along with the fresh brand creation and signage came the birth of a brand new website, which was exclusively designed and developed for the scheme by our in-house digital team. The website included a dedicated downloads area along with a photo gallery, location maps and floor plans. To finish off the marketing, we also designed an on brand 6 page ibrochure.

Deva City Office Park is the space with a difference.

THE BRIEF

Our team at Creativeworld has been working with property fund managers and owners, Highcross, on their development of Deva City Office Park scheme for a number of years, having been originally commissioned back in 2011 to create a bespoke marketing package for the site’s launch to the market.

THE BRIEF

We were approached by Chartered Surveyors Whittle Jones to design, develop and build a bespoke website and mobile web app for their practice; they required a site that could be used to showcase their latest instructions and list their office locations around the country.

WHAT WE DID

Our digital team set to work creating a bespoke website design that carried with it the Whittle Jones colour palette throughout. The new site also features a property search tool which allows users to easily navigate through each property available, depending on their requirements. The website also includes a full social media integration system.


MOBILE FRIENDLY

Making your site mobile-friendly can offer you a huge advantage in your business’s market place, with people using their mobile devices more and more to browse the internet. With that in mind, our digital team developed a bespoke web app for Whittle Jones which enables users to search for specific properties available with ease.

WHAT THEY DO

Whittle Jones Chartered Surveyors perform an asset management function for commercial portfolios totalling circa 9 million sq ft, consisting of industrial/trade and office accommodation in over 4,000 units, with unit sizes ranging from as little as 76 sq ft to c 50,000 sq ft.
