Interactive prospectus

Thanks to the pandemic, we’ve all experienced living in a homeworking, online world and even though we hope the end is in sight for social restrictions, the fact is that more people than ever before are working remotely and limiting outings into the public. So, has your school adapted in order to carry on reaching your target audience effectively (and hygienically)?! Hint – having a digital, interactive school prospectus created is a great place to start!

Why is digital key in a homeworking world?

Digital marketing activity has already been on the rise over recent years, including prior to COVID-19, due to its limitless reach possibilities, innovative capabilities and adaptability, enabling brands to work flexibly around their budget. Uptake of this marketing method has only increased further following the virus sweeping the globe and forcing us to stay at home.

Printed vs digital school prospectus

The printed prospectus is a key part of school marketing activity and still plays an important role due to its tangibility, which represents the school or college brand and creates a physical perception in the minds of future students and their parents.

However, a digital school brochure needs to be part of every school and college’s marketing toolkit, especially during these current times, to ensure they can still reach their target audiences, communicate the school’s offering and provide added value for the recipient. Digital allows you to bring your school alive for your audience, even when they’re not there physically.

What is an interactive prospectus?

Put simply, it is a digital online version of your printed prospectus and is far from a flat, PDF version of your school brochure! An interactive prospectus design will deliver the same branding and content but with added functionality, to create a more engaging experience for the reader.

Key benefits of a digital prospectus for schools

  • Reach your full target audience quickly, regardless of a pandemic!
  • COVID-secure – no sanitising required
  • Many functionality options available to create an interactive experience for future students and parents
  • Ability to communicate more impactful and memorable messages, eg. what it’s like to be a student at your school
  • Quick to update and more cost effective to do so, compared with amending an existing printed prospectus
  • You can be creative. The options are endless when it comes to digital so you can make your school or college look its absolute best!

New Steadplan Corporate Website from Team Creative

Following a meeting in July, Team Creative set to work developing an all new digital identity for the company, who were looking for a site with a stylish, more contemporary feel.

On the recent collaboration, Creativeworld’s David Bates commented “Having worked closely with Steadplan for a number of years, they know we always go the extra mile when it comes to service. It was a real pleasure to collaborate with them once again, this time to create a completely new look digital presence that puts Steadplan firmly in the driving seat”

As with any new website development, the new Steadplan site was created with functionality, design and mobile optimisation in mind… after all, recent studies show that mobile visits are now exceeding desktop visits for the first time.

“One of the biggest things to consider when designing any website, besides usability, is seamless accessibility across multiple devices.” added David.

The newly developed site also gave the Steadplan Team a fully functional content management system, empowering their marketing team and making life a whole lot easier for them, whether they want to make updates to product listings, post News articles or simply tweak text and imagery anywhere on the site.

Leading Lancashire Hotel Destination Gets The Creativeworld Treatment https://www.creativeworld.co.uk/leading-lancashire-hotel-destination-gets-creativeworld-treatment/ https://www.creativeworld.co.uk/leading-lancashire-hotel-destination-gets-creativeworld-treatment/#respond Fri, 12 Sep 2014 12:15:51 +0000 http://www.creativeworld.co.uk/?p=6230 Summer 2014 saw leading North West digital marketing agency, Creativeworld, appointed to design and develop a new website for one of Lancashire’s most well-known hotel destinations, Sparth House Hotel.

At Creativeworld we are always striving to develop and improve our digital marketing offering, ensuring we are at the forefront of modern trends and technologies at all times. This exact philosophy is why Team Creative continues to work hand in hand with some of the North West’s best known businesses and brands.

The latest Lancashire based business to approach our team, seeking our expert services, was Clayton Le Moors based, Sparth House Hotel, as they looked to appoint a creative agency to deliver their dream website.

As with any new website design, we sat down with the Sparth House team to learn more about them, their personal tastes and what they wanted to achieve moving forward with their new website.

It became clear to the Creativeworld team early on in the design briefing that their then current website wasn’t portraying in the best way or what they offered as the new business owners.

When I first walked through the entrance of Sparth House Hotel, I instantly pictured the look and feel required of a website to reflect the opulence and grandeur of this wonderful establishment.”

Sparth House has grown and developed in recent years as a business, offering visitors not only the opportunity to stay in their luxury bedroom suites but to host corporate events, weddings and even the chance to wine and dine for the evening in their luxurious restaurant. With this in mind it was important that the new website highlighted each service tastefully and accurately, while making each service offering easy to navigate through and informative.

On the recent collaboration, Creativeworld’s Sales and Marketing Manager David Bates said “When I first walked through the entrance of Sparth House Hotel, I instantly pictured the look and feel required of a website to reflect the opulence and grandeur of this wonderful establishment.

When searching for a quality hotel, whether for a business stop-over or a romantic break, it’s important get a feel for the luxurious facilities on offer – with the all new Sparth House Hotel website we feel we have achieved just that.

Ease of navigation enables visitors to see exactly what to expect, and the availability checker and booking system means that within a few clicks your reservation is confirmed.”

The new look Sparth House website features all the things you would expect to see on the modern day website with large feature photo galleries throughout, social media and SEO integration, a clean, fresh on-brand design template and a simple booking system.

Put Your Social Media Strategy In Safe Hands with Creativeworld https://www.creativeworld.co.uk/put-social-media-strategy-safe-hands-creativeworld/ https://www.creativeworld.co.uk/put-social-media-strategy-safe-hands-creativeworld/#respond Mon, 28 Jul 2014 12:44:15 +0000 http://www.creativeworld.co.uk/?p=6193 put your social media stratergy in safe hands

So, you’ve finally woken up and ‘smelt the coffee’ and created yourself a selection of social media profiles for your business… great! Hopefully you’ve got your PR links, photos, adverts and promotions all live and uploaded, but is anyone really taking notice? You’re quite possibly sitting there thinking… what now, what’s next?

Well don’t panic, it can be very easy to get lost in the ever-changing environment that is social media, and trust us; you’re not the only one. If you’re new to the whole social media scene you need to give yourself time to find your feet, never rush into saying anything, if you make silly mistakes now they could be detrimental to your brand in the future.

For most businesses, employing a dedicated ‘social media guru’ simply isn’t a financially viable option, which in turn usually sees the responsibility falling into the hands of a member of staff that ether has no experience in handling social media accounts or has no interest in it.

At Creativeworld we are perfectly positioned to help you and your business develop and grown through social media, ensuring you do and say all the right things every step of the way, reaping all the rewards in the process without any of the headaches.

Our expert team has worked with a variety of businesses and organisations in recent years, creating bespoke marketing strategies for their individual needs, ensuring they achieve their desired goals online.

5 Mistakes Companies Make With Social Media:
  • Choosing the wrong social media platform – Remember each social media platform is different and attracts different audiences and groups, find out where your target audience is and act on it accordingly.
  • Too Much Too Soon – It’s important to remember you can’t do everything all at once; Rome wasn’t built in a day. Building a strong social media identity takes a lot of time and planning.
  • Talking at people instead of talking with them – Many businesses see their social media channels as another platform to promote their own news and products… which it is, but it’s not all about you and what you are all about. Take time to engage with your following and learn what makes them tick.
  • Obsessing over how many fans/followers you have – What good is having 10,000 followers on Twitter when not one of them has any relevance or interest in you and your brand… it’s all about quality not quantity.
  • Not having a clear strategy and vision in place – What are your key social media objectives? Do you want to raise brand awareness, increase sales or just develop your SEO? Whatever your goals, making sure you have a clear strategy and vision in place from the offset will give you opportunity to gauge how you are performing.

Why Creativeworld:
  • Building a winning, long term strategy – Every social media channel, campaign, promotion, hashtag and piece of content should be a part of the ‘bigger picture’ that ties in with your company’s existing marketing strategies. We know how to make social media work for you and can build a bespoke strategy to achieve this.
  • Smarter Marketing – We know only too well how important it is to make your marketing budget stretch, with a ROI high on the desired list of most Marketers. Social media offers a cost effective and transparent way of promoting your company with visible results ensured. Working with Creativeworld on your social media strategy allows you and your employees to focus on your core business, leaving us to do what we do what we do best.
  • A wealth of knowledge – When you work with Creativeworld, you have access to our expert team of graphic designers, top-of-the-line social media marketing software systems and the vast combined experience of our team. Meaning you have a whole team of experienced people who have your company’s best interest at heart, every step of the way.
  • Real Time Marketing – Social Media isn’t just a 9-5 platform, in fact engagement actually increases by over 30% when the weekend arrives. We ensure that even when you aren’t in the office working, your social media platforms are, promoting you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

International Trade: Eyes on Ireland https://www.creativeworld.co.uk/international-trade-eyes-ireland/ https://www.creativeworld.co.uk/international-trade-eyes-ireland/#respond Mon, 14 Jul 2014 12:55:04 +0000 http://www.creativeworld.co.uk/?p=6160 Despite being one of the UK’s longest standing trading partners and near neighbors, Ireland is often overlooked as a potential market for goods and services by many companies. Those companies could well be missing a trick.

The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) recently placed more than 20 North West businesses in front of Irish Companies. All met with potential buyers, suppliers, business partners, and exporters, and a number are now keen to build on those initial contacts made. Fiona Castela, European project manager for EEN, says: “There is been a notable increase in the level of demand for EEN and UKTI’s services in Ireland from UK companies.”

One Lancashire business has been making the most of these opportunities, selling their services across the Irish Sea.

Leading North West marketing agency Creativeworld has seen work in Ireland snowball recently.

Last year, it collaborated with Irish property investment and development company Ballymore Group, which saw the team appointed to design and develop a marketing brochure for the sale of its Old Spitalfields Market investment in the City of London. Off the back of the successful sale of this investment, and with the exposure generated in the Irish market, Creativeworld has this year been approached by two of Ireland’s largest property investment agencies, JLL and Savills, which in turn has resulted in solid orders.

DSC03984edited

Managing Director Clive Wood said:

“Ireland is a very interesting opportunity right now. The country sank into a deeper recession than we did, but it is on its way out. For us in particular, the means that the banks that took properties when businesses went into receivership are putting them back on the market, including the types of £100m plus developments that we deal with.”

“As we are in the creative marketing sector, the only difference between working in the UK and working abroad is the time difference, which isn’t even a hurdle when dealing with Ireland, and having a price in Euros. When putting together a proposal we have to account for currency fluctuations so that we don’t lose out, but we also need to remain competitive.

“However, we are now a trusted name in this sector. We have worked on six £100m appointments recently. Our phone is ringing, which allays worries over price a little.”

The first Irish opportunity Creativeworld was appointed on came from JLL Dublin as they looked to appoint a property marketing agency to created a printed and digital marketing package for the launch of their Ulysses Portfolio.

After completion of the Ulysses Portfolio came a host of other high profile Irish opportunities from both JLL and Savills, which saw Creativeworld produce case bound brochures and secure data rooms for new investment opportunities Central Park Dublin, Heuston South Quarter Dublin and most recently, the Acorn Portfolio, a three shopping centre retail investment.

Trust Creativeworld to create the perfect online commerce site for your business https://www.creativeworld.co.uk/trust-creativeworld-create-perfect-e-commerce-site-business/ https://www.creativeworld.co.uk/trust-creativeworld-create-perfect-e-commerce-site-business/#respond Thu, 26 Jun 2014 10:29:04 +0000 http://www.creativeworld.co.uk/?p=6081 You’ve got your stock levels in place, you’ve researched your marketplace, you’ve even got your prices as competitive as possible and you’re ready to go. Now how do you get people to buy from you online?

Whether you’re in the market for a brand new e-commerce website or are considering a fresh approach to your existing online business, you really need to give Creativeworld a call today.

We can drive loads of traffic through to your site via our excellent Social Media and SEO strategy services – but what happens when your new visitors arrive at your site, then leave pretty much straight away because your site looks awful? Probably No Sale!

ecommerceAt Creativeworld, our team of experts really understand what’s needed to develop your e-commerce website, so that not only will it be appealing to your visitors, it will make you money – after all that’s why you need an e-commerce site isn’t it?

Your e-commerce website should be regarded as your ‘shop window’ to the whole wide world, but if your window display looks dull, boring or unprofessional, why on earth would anyone want to venture inside?

On the high street, passing trade will always pause to look if your ‘shop window’ looks great and will be encouraged to step inside. Once inside they MUST be able to browse freely to see what you have to offer, investigate your goods, and ask for friendly advice. Then once they’ve chosen what they like, be able to pay for it easily, securely and quickly without queuing. The same basic principles apply to an e-commerce website.

Whether your target customers are B2B or B2C, the key things that must be focused on are:

  • Getting your Branding Right – Your brand will be the first thing people should see when they land on your site so it needs to be memorable. We can do this for you too!
  • Making sure it works on any device – With more and more people using mobiles of tablets to surf the web, your site HAS to be usable across all platforms.
  • Having High Quality Product Images – People want to see what they’re getting. Ideally the more the better and making sure you show your products from different angles, in context, and make them enlargeable.
  • Providing Great Product Descriptions – The purpose of good product text is to give potential buyers enough information so they can convince themselves that yours is the right product for them. Ideally a concise and a full length version to give them the option.
  • Showing Customer  Reviews – Nothing sells a product better than customer reviews so making sure your potential customers can easily check out what others have said is a must!
  • Including Product Videos – While a picture can say a thousand words – a well-produced video can convey a whole array of information and is the next best thing to actually touching and feeling a product. Creativeworld will do this for you too.
  • Offering Sensible Shipping Costs – Studies have shown that the unconditional offer of ‘Free Carriage’ is the number one criteria when clinching an online sale . Companies that offer ‘Free Shipping’, for instance on orders over £100.00 see a huge increase in their sales. Think about this the next time you visit Amazon. ‘Free’ really is is in a league of its own!
  • Displaying Sale Items and Specials – Have specific sections for items ‘On Sale’ or ‘Seasonal Specials’ – and make these areas very easy to navigate to from anywhere on your site.
  • Having an Easy to use and Trustworthy Checkout – Nothing puts people off more than having to type in ‘War and Peace’ before they can buy their items. So keep in simple by offering as many ways of accepting your customer’s payment ,such as PayPal, as you can – that way you will avoid the dreaded ‘Shopping Basket Drop-off’. Likewise having full SSL certification is a must as this will give the user confidence that they won’t get ripped off.

These are just few of the basics but there are of course many, many more considerations that we will guide you through when devising and constructing your new e-commerce website. Our strategic planning will form the basis of a robust e-commerce platform that will serve you very well… long into the future.

If what you’ve read here has ‘struck-a-cord’ then make sure you contact David Bates and the Creativeworld Team to arrange a ‘no-obligation’ meeting to see how #Teamcreative can help you grow your business.

The Irish economy has continued to show signs of stabilisation and recovery over the course of this year and with this growth, Creativeworld has seen a strong influx of commercial property marketing requirements come through from a range of Irish based real estate agencies. Last year, we reported our collaboration with leading Irish property investment and development company, Ballymore Group, which saw our team appointed to design and develop a unique marketing brochure for the sale of their Old Spitalfields Market investment in the city of London.

Ulysses Investment Brochure & WebsiteOff the back of the successful sale of this investment, and with the exposure generated in the Irish market, Creativeworld has this year been approached by two of Ireland’s largest property investment agencies, JLL and Savills, which in turn has resulted in Creativeworld producing some truly bespoke property marketing solutions for these latest investment opportunities.

On the recent Irish collaborations, Creativeworld’s London Account Executive, James Wood commented.

“The Irish property market is one that we have seen take real shape in recent months. With our wealth of knowledge and creative experience in the property marketing industry and with the work we have produced, not only in the London, West End and City markets but all over the UK, we are able to offer a comprehensive marketing service all from our North West Studios to clients all over the UK and the rest of the European market.”

The first Irish opportunity Creativeworld was appointed on came from JLL Dublin as they looked to appoint a property marketing agency to create a printed and digital marketing package for the launch of their then, 25 assets strong, Ulysses Portfolio. This included a 120 page D ring portfolio a custom built website and an online secure data room. The finished results were truly unique in every sense of the word, as Creativeworld’s in-house team took design inspiration from the famous Irish modernist James Joyce novel, Ulysses. sml_ulysses1

“The kind of work we are now bringing in from all over the UK is something as a North West marketing agency we are very proud of and excited by. With the team we have in place, and looking to expand in our North West studios, we are able to offer a truly bespoke and unique experience for any client that comes to us. These are exciting times.”

added Creativeworld MD, Clive Wood.

Swiftly after completion of the Ulysses Portfolio came a host of other high profile Irish opportunities from both JLL and Savills, which saw Creativeworld produce case bound brochures and secure data rooms for new investment opportunities Central Park Dublin, Heuston South Quarter Dublin and most recently, the Acorn Portfolio a three shopping centre retail investment.

On the recent work JLL Dublin, Managing Director, John Moran added

“JLL Dublin have worked with Creativeworld on the majority of our recent high profile portfolio sales including Ulysses Portfolio, Central Park and Acorn Portfolio. The team have produced the highest quality marketing material including brochures, websites, data rooms, newspaper ads and webmails. We can always rely on Creativeworld to provide a hassle and stress free service and they understand what it is we are trying to deliver. Having the full suite of services for marketing under the one roof ensures there is always consistency in the range of marketing material that is produced.”

Creativeworld Appointed to Develop New Social Media Strategy https://www.creativeworld.co.uk/creativeworld-appointed-develop-new-social-media-strategy/ https://www.creativeworld.co.uk/creativeworld-appointed-develop-new-social-media-strategy/#respond Tue, 27 May 2014 16:18:19 +0000 http://www.creativeworld.co.uk/?p=5972 Leading North West Marketing Agency, Creativeworld, has been appointed by leading supplier of sport safety products Kay-Metzeler to build the company’s online presence.

Creativeworld is thrilled to announce the launch of our newest collaboration with leading UK supplier of sport safety products, Kay-Metzeler, as they become the latest company to appoint our expert digital media team to provide an unrivalled social media marketing strategy service for the company.

The buzz of social media continues to take the world by storm and is showing no signs of slowing down. Individuals and businesses alike are now employing it in their daily life to share debate and discuss topical points of view or promote business services and products.

The Middleton based outfit approached us as they looked to appoint a North West digital marketing agency to develop the company’s online presence, through social media channels, in an effort to promote their wide range of sport safety products to their niche target audience, whilst building a brand awareness campaign to raise the company’s industry profile.

Our team has previously produced a host of marketing services for the Vita Group over the years having worked with Rossendale Combining, Vita Cellular Foam and Calogen Foam. We have a strong working relationship with Kay-Metzeler particularly since our appointment to develop their latest corporate website back in 2011.

Of the latest collaboration, Creativeworld’s Jack Dyson commented,

“The whole team is really excited to be working with Kay-Metzeler on this latest social media project. We are seeing a growing number of companies, of all sizes and from all industry backgrounds, really start to take their social media presence seriously as leading platforms continue to offer more options to businesses on a commercial front, which for us as a digital agency is refreshing to see.”

The latest appointment will see the Creativeworld team fully manage and maintain all aspects of the Kay-Metzeler brand on social media platforms, initially on Twitter and Facebook, with a presence on LinkedIn and Google+ to follow.

David Bates added

“There’s no quick fix when it comes to growing and developing a company’s online identity on Social Media, but with the expert team we have in place here at Creativeworld, we are able to offer truly bespoke solutions to any one of our clients, facilitating their needs perfectly.”
